I saw it at my local theater

Glad to hear it, Diane. Thanks for commenting. So many independent theaters across the country (in 48 states in fact!) showed the film. Thanks for your support!

I already watched it with my family, but have passed the word along that it is showing again. Simply wonderful.

Thanks for generously offering another watch-along. I'm looking forward to the Wednesday night viewing. And, I've passed this along to a friend to enjoy. She is an arts educator and grateful for the opportunity to see this. Can't wait to see the new film preview, too!

I rallied for our hometown independent theater to bring it in, and they did. Watched it w/my adult children and invited neighbor. She watches you, Professor Reich, and Heather, or guests, every Saturday on Coffee Klatch.❤️. So does my son.

That's so great about your hometown theater. Wonderful. Thanks for being part of our community, Jan!

I caught it at the Elmwood a few months ago and loved it. Good work!

Yay for the Rialto Cinemas Elmwood! I frequent that theater a lot. Thanks, Sharyn.

The depth of both wisdom and kindness of Professor Reich is all in. This documentary is so beautiful. Content, cinematography and music is superb. What a beautiful tribute to a teacher so deeply loved and so richly deserved. He is helping us preserve our democracy.

I would have loved to rematch the film...but I had a prior engagement. Thank you for the opportunity!

Rewatch apparently wasn't in my phone's dictionary 😁

I did watch it when you offered it back in December (?). I am a retired science teacher and I really loved the film. Thanks so much.

Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds has been called one of the least popular governors in the United States. Even Donald Trump once criticized her harshly, calling her “the most unpopular governor in America.”

Morning Consult polling has ranked Reynolds among the nation’s least popular governors for extended periods. That is not an accident.

Her record gives critics plenty of reasons. She mishandled COVID-19, resisted public health protections, used taxpayer money to support private schools, pushed harsh abortion restrictions, weakened child labor protections, and supported voting-law changes that made voting harder.

The list goes on.

Reynolds has also protected powerful agricultural interests while many Iowans worry about polluted water, rising cancer rates, and weak environmental enforcement. Iowa has one of the highest cancer rates in the nation, yet her administration continues to rely on voluntary action instead of strong regulation.

Like Trump, Reynolds has worked to concentrate power, weaken oversight, and change the rules to benefit those already in control.

I could go on, but the pattern is clear: Kim Reynolds has not governed for ordinary Iowans. She has governed for power, politics, and special interests.

I'd love to watch, but 5.30 Pacific time is 3.30 am European time. Could you schedule a showing that's at a more convenient time?

That's 2.30 am on Thursday night for Central Europe...

I'll set the alarm. 😊

I did watch it and enjoyed it very much. Sadly, I’m moving this week and have so much on, dunno if I’m coming or going.

Missed the invite. Where will it be shown on Wednesday?
